It's that time of year again! Wahooooo

I love Christmas time all the shopping, wrapping, roaring fires and the wonderful aroma of spiced apple,cloves,cinnamon it brings out the nostalgic feelings of excitement. So today is the day to hit the shops and buy ALL of my crimbo prezzies,cards,wrapping bows the whole lot! I'm armed with my list,elbow pads,it's going to get messy I'm a woman on a mission so step out of the way.

I have been asked recently "What do I buy a woman who has everything?"

My answer was " An Aston Martin of course!" hahaha

No, really, I know how difficult it is to buy a gift for someone like myself but I have pretty simple tastes,I am a massive coffee lover so anything coffee related. I was lucky enough to receive a bottle of coffee baileys last week and I'm hooked! It's sooooo gorgeous! I have my eye on a nespresso coffee machine but you can only buy the pods online,I just know I'll run out and have to go cold turkey that's the only thing that puts me off them,I have a normal filter coffee machine so a nice rich strong packet of coffee is always welcomed. I can't live without coffee as you might have guessed LOL.

I adore scented candles,spiced apple are my fav but I love all candles. Perfumes,a nice bottle of brandy or port,La Senza vouchers,M.andonia handbags,Russian Dolls,Molten Brown lotions and bubble bath.

So there you have it darling/s ideas for my Birthday and Christmas ;)

Honestly I haven't! Now I know that my new toy looks a bit like a giant microphone but it's that most amazing "Toy" errr massager and I LOVE IT !!!

I have read about the Hitachi magic wand before in other ladies blogs and to be honest I just thought it was all hype,well I kid you not this fantastic invention really does blow your mind!

I was soooooo surprised when a lovely gent of mine turned up at chez Loughton with a huge box under his arm,I thought "oooOOooo what's in the box,choccies perhaps??" But nothing prepared me for the joy of seeing the giant microphone,the first thing I did was give my gent a massive kiss and thank him the next was to have a little sing song with my "Microphone". We were both in fits of laughter at my silly singing ;)

We took it into the bedroom and my eyes widened when we plugged it into the mains and watched it go bananas,noooooooo more duracell for me oh no I'm hardcore now! I want 220 volts from now on and any less just won't do! hahaha. To say we both enjoyed my new toy is an understatement,I turned to my gent and said "I can keep this right?" He said of course you can darling it's for you! I must admit if he had said "No" I would have bopped him on the head with the magic wand and made a run for it in my knickers and bra down the road,no way is this toy ever leaving my side never ever!

So Thank You,Thank You,Thank You darling for giving me this fabulous early Christmas present.

I'm just nipping off for a sing song in my bedroom and I might be there for some time ;)

A Lucky Lady

Just want to say a special thank you to the gent who brought along these lovely gifts recently,I have to say I was pretty amazed at the very tasteful negligee set he bought me and it fits so perfectly too! Not that I was expecting crutchless knickers or anything like that but I was really bowled over by his taste as it would have been something I would have chose myself.

Now as for the chocolates well! If any of you readers happen to swan into "Hotel Chocolat" and buy some gorgeous chocolates from there,don't eat them..no...no...no... you really won't like them phnar phnar! Let me help you eat them errrr I mean discard them in the nearest boudoir,namely chez Loughton. Don't open the box!!! They will make your eyebrows fall off,turn your hair green,make you bark like a dog and make your mouth water and I wouldn't want that to happen to you! gosh I'm sooooooooo nice sometimes! ;)

Well can you? Are you a clever clogs?

A dear friend of mine gave me these Russian dolls as a gift the other day,how lovely and thank you so much S oh and that lottery ticket was a duffer lol! Anyway back to topic,I'm a bit of a minimalist as far as my home is concerned but I just love Russian dolls for some reason and the more unusual the better. A bit of a kid in me I suppose? lol

My kitten loves Russian dolls too as I found one of my little dolls in his cat basket,naughty boy he is tut tut. Just imagine if he'd have swallowed it and it showed up on the x-ray! How confused would the vet have been hahaha

Anyway now my dolls are out of reach of his naughty paws. So can you name the dolls in this pic? Bet ya can't ;)

Charlotte does steamy ......

Yes it's true! lol

I had a wonderful trip recently to sunny Scotland,to be honest when my lovely gentleman friend asked me to escort him on a train trip I kind thought oooooh noooooooo I flippin hate trains! But then he explained that this was no ordinary train trip,this was the Jacobite steam train from Fort William to Mallaig. Well it didn't take me long to decide that I wanted to take the trip and wow I'm so glad I did!

We had such a wonderful time and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking! The weather was gorgeous and my companion fantastic,I was really lucky that my gentleman friend had connections so we got to ride with the staff and get a real sense of what it's like to work on a steam train. Bloody fantastic!

I'm probably only one of a few people that hasn't read the Harry Potter books but to see the HP fans hanging out of the window taking pictures of the viaduct that features in the book (so I'm told) did make me chuckle lol. It really was a trip to remember and whilst lighting my coal fire last night the memories of my wonderful sooty trip came flooding back,so if your thinking of taking this trip DO IT!!!!! It's magical.

Feeling Radiant ???

I never look forward to going to the dentist arrrgh! But on Wednesday I plucked up the courage to go and get my wisdom tooth checked out,it's been nagging me for sometime :(

So off I go leaving in plenty of time as I thought I'd do a bit of shopping first to numb the pain hehe,then within the next 30 minutes this happened....

In the bank....

Bank Teller "Oh you smell lovely! what perfume are you wearing?

Floozie Dean "Oh thank you,it's called Mauboussin (smiles)

Walking down the road....

Random Lady "What a lovely coat your wearing,it looks lovely with that dress!"

Floozie Dean "Errrr oh errrr thank you very much (smiles).

Coming out of a shop....

Random pair of ladies "Oh your handbag is gorgeous!"

Floozie Dean "Oh eerrr thanks!" (smiles again)

In the Spar....

Random gentleman " You smell very nice young lady"

Floozie Dean "Why thank you kind sir" (smiles again and face cracks! lol)

By this time I'm thinking "What the hell is going on today!"

So I head off to the dentist and everyone in the waiting room isn't smiling lol,at last a bit of normality! So they call my name and in I go.

And the first thing the dentist said to me was "Oh what a pretty coat your wearing Miss Dean"

Ok so now I think I'm in the twilight zone and I'm also thinking my dentist might "bat for the other team?. I was so speechless that I opened my mouth to say thank you but nothing came out,anyway my lovely dentist checked me over and said I didn't really need any work done just a polish phewee. I walked out of the dentists and pinched myself,kicked my shin and poked myself in the eye just to make sure I was actually still alive and not dreaming! Yes all three hurt so yes I'm still alive,although I shouldn't have poked myself in the eye quite so hard Mmmmm.

I suppose I was just radiating something that day? I hope I have more days like that though ;)
